After much speculation, AlphaTuari today confirmed the name they will take into the 2024 season.

Since joining the Formula 1 grid in 2006, Red Bull’s sister team has seen the beginning of many successful careers, being the starting point for drivers such as Max Verstappen, Sebastian Vettel, Carlos Sainz, and Daniel Ricciardo. The team has had 2 previous identities, firstly as Toro Rosso from their debut season, and then rebranding as Alpha Tauri in 2020 in order to promote their fashion brand, and now we have the third - Visa Cash App RB.

In a post on Instagram, the team introduced their new name and logo, which comes alongside major changes to their leadership with Laurent Mekies replacing newly-retired Franz Tost as team principal. But, in line with the rest of the grid, RB’s driver line-up remains the same as 2023 - Daniel Ricciardo and Yuki Tsunoda. Visa Cash App RB will also sponsor a driver in the all-female F1 Academy series who will run the RB livery as part of a deal for each Formula 1 team to run one driver with their livery on their car in F1 Academy’s 2024 season.

The team have also announced that they will unveil their 2024 car on the 8th of February in Las Vegas, leaving only Haas F1 team to announce their launch date, making it feel like we’re getting just that bit closer to the end of the winter break and the start of some more racing action getting underway.
